To maintain presence – “Präsentsein” – in the market is an important psychological factor to consider when marketing a product in export markets. Presence does not necessarily mean establishing yourself through expensive offices and employees.

One sensible alternative is to use a business park where you can “let" an address, including an office and access to a conference room, when necessary. This allows a business to maintain a German address with a German telephone and fax number either operated by the business park’s personnel or redirected straightly to the company's offices in Denmark.

From the outside, the company has thus achieved a presence in the market and is a “German company”, enabling it to wait and see whether a direct establishment in the market is suitable and necessary.
